A Blister is a retention of fluid trapped under the skin. This can be caused by friction, irritations sunburn or a burn of any other sort e.g. Chemical, hot object.
However antiseptic herbal essential oils Teas or even infused oils help begin the healing process and the rejuvenation of new cellular skin tissue.
During the healing process nourishment to the new cellular tissue is vital for healthy and strong tissue growth. There are herbs for this as well. And all in all is a simple solution that can easy pain and make all good as new again.
A Few good herbs are:
Chamomile: as a tea can be cools and used as a mild antiseptic.
Peppermint: essential oil(diluted) 1 drop to 1 ounce of carrier oil. is great for cellular rejuvenation of the skin
Tea Tree: essential oil (diluted) 1 drop to 1 ounce of carrier oil. is a powerful antiseptic and anti bacterial and also helps the beginning process for new skin cell growth. This may ala be called Melaleuca alternifolia,.
Slippery Elm Bark: This wonderful herb brings it all together by providing gently by powerful nutrition to the overall process from the initial cellular growth to the final healing stage.
Lavender: essential oil(diluted) 1 drop to 1 ounce of carrier oil. is great for the skin overall healing wise.
Calendula: as an infused oil or cooled tea as a wash;another healing her that provides aid in the elasticity to the skin through natural enzymes.
Thyme: as a tea cooled as a natural antiseptic; also will help minimize inflammation during healing.
Echinacea: a tea cooled used as a antibacterial wash; will help prevent infection and aiding to healthy healing overall.
Aloe: Pure Juice used to heal and begin new cellular growth with natural anti-septic properties.
Witch Hazel: DISTILLED to be used as a coolant and to tighten up skin cells throughout the healing process.
Healing Spray Mist for Blisters:
- 3 ounces distilled water.
- 1 drop of pure essential oil of peppermint
- 1 drop of pure essential oil of Lavender
- 1 ounce of pure aloe juice
add all ingredients to a 4 ounce glass jar with a atomizer sprayer Shake well before each use. apply 3 times daily.
#2 Healing Spray Mist for Blisters:
- 2 ounces of distilled water
- 1 drop of pure undiluted essential oil of lavender
- 1 drop of pure undiluted essential oil of tea tree
- 1 ounce of DISTILLED witch hazel
add all ingredients to a 4 ounce glass jar with a atomizer sprayer Shake well before each use. apply 2 times daily.
- 2-4 inch gauze wrap
- 1 tablespoon Slippery Elm Bark powder
- 2 drops of Pure Lavender Essential oil
- 4 ounces Distilled water
Spray the open blister with your spay(optional) then
take 4 ounces of distilled water. add 2 drops of pure lavender essential oil and mix together.
Add 1 tablespoon of slippery elm bark powder to form a soupy mixture ( this is known as a gruel)
Smother the 2-4 inch wide gauze with it and wrap the effected area with the saturated gauze smother with more gruel
Then with a clean gauze wrap
Change daily or when dirty use for at least 3-5 days. You will feel great with this.
