Herbal Tonics, Formulas and Recipe Series
This syrup can be taken daily as a general health Tonic. It’s high level of vitamin C and flavanoids will keep your immune system maintained all year. it also has vitamins B6,B12 and more to help support the central Nervous system.
1. Yield 16 oz. aprox.
First take 2 cups of distilled water and bring it to a hard boil
Add 1/2 cup of dried elderberries
Add 1/3 cup of dried rose hips
Add 1 cinnamon stick
Add 8 cloves
Add 1 tablespoon of fresh ground Ginger root
Add 1/2 teaspoon of thyme
Lower to a low low simmer and add cover let simmer for 30 minutes or until reduced by one half.
2. Let cool
3. Add 1 cup of raw wildflower honey mix well and bottle in dark bottles.
ADULTS, When sick take 1 tablespoon per hour. for General Health Tonic take 1 tablespoon daily.
